By merging with the ELEKTROSIGNAL firm which specialised in electrical installations, the firm under the name TOPLOVOD-ELEKTROSIGNAL, Ljubljana, tehnicno podjetje za projektiranje, proizvodnjo in montažo toplotnih, mehanskih, sanitarnih, jakotocnih in šibkotocnih naprav izvoz, uvoz was formed.
At the end of the year the name of the firm was changed to IMP Industrijsko montažno podjetje
Ljubljana.

The company changed its name into IMP – Industrijsko montažno podjetje, Ljubljana, n.sol.o.

Further growth of IMP, increase of its field of activity and incorporation of other firms Formation of SOZD IMP, o.sol.o. within which individual firms were engaged in erection, production, design and engineering; integrated in the company was also an internal bank.

In compliance with the Company Act, SOZD IMP was cancelled and its rights and liabilities were assigned to the newly formed company IMP – inženiring, montaža, proizvodnja, r.o.
