Barje, Ljubljana - Landfill Site for Municipal Waste
Construction of small gas fired power plant with four containerised GE Jenbacher cogeneration modules for combined heat and power generation featuring electric power output of 2 x 0.6 MW and 2 x 1MW and thermal output of 1.8 MW.
The scope of works also included erection and extension of a gas fired pumping station 2 x 1600 Nm/h + 1 x 1000 Nm3/h for future erection of four modules featuring electric power output of 1.5 MW each, construction of a heating plant and increase of transformer sub-station capacity with electric power output of up to 6.4 MW, complete with pertaining high-voltage and low-voltage switchgears.
IMP also installed a centralised control system for operation of three gas-fired pumps and automatic operation of four gas fired modules depending on the landfill gas quality and quantity.
